From Emre, Turkey:

Hello K.K. My question is:

Will you (Judas Priest) release that British Steel dvd with a cd version too? I mean, will there be a record of the night as an audio cd too in the boxset? If so, it would be fucking amazing. All the fans want it, please consider that.

And my second question is:

How many concerts did you record for the dvd? I know Priest recorded 2 nights in 2005 and selected Budokan. And now? Did you record any other night with Florida to make selection between them? (At Florida concert, Rapid Fire light effects were totally off, why was it? Was it broken during Rapid Fire for cameras??) THANKS !

Hi Emre. Yes I think that is the plan, we hope to make the British Steel package really cool. We only filmed one show and yes there were some technical problems but nothing that effected the bands performance.

Regards K.K.

From Nikki, Georgia:

Hi K.K. I'm a huge fan and I finally got to see Judas Priest for the first time this past August in Alpharetta, GA. You guys were amazing -I had a blast! My question is; what do you typically do after a show to unwind? Hit the hotel bar? Go to sleep?

P.S. You and Glenn were looking as sexy as ever!

Hi Nikki. I like to have a couple of beers and usually hang out for a whilst for a chat with people like yourself.

Regards K.K.

From Markus:

Hi Mr. Downing, born in 1969 I grew up with Priest in the 70’s while hearing your songs from my older brother, but I became more and more a bigger fan of you than him. Until today I knew exactly the day, when my grandmother gave me the money that I could bought me my first own album of yours: Many weeks  I saw in the shop-window in a large store of my former home town the tape “Point of Entry”. I have this tape today and for me it is a rarity!

I cannot understand why many people have been disappointed with this album? In my opinion one of my favourite albums by you. The sound is typically British, no technical experiments and without any twirls. A great work! I saw you often in Offenbach, Germany and unforgettable was your concert in December 1983 in Dortmund, Westfalenhalle with Scorpions, Ozzy, Maiden and Def Leppard. This concert has been shown in TV and my parents allowed me to wake up and see it the whole night.

Today I got young kids, my son at the age of 7 also likes your music but does not really understand the enthusiasm of your music. But he is always listening to the ”British Steel”-album on his little CD-Player, when friends of him come to us. Priest is already a discussing theme in his primary school hahahah.

Kenneth, I hope you have relaxed enough on your American tour and wish you (and Priest) much success for the Japan Tour!

Have a great time! Bye.

Hi Marcus. Yes I feel well rested. I have just arrived in Japan, Ready to rock!

Regards K.K.

From Tuomas, Finland:

Hi K.K. I loved when Judas Priest played concert in Finland last year, it was so perfect! Priest are my favourite band. You are my idol and me and my friend's band have played Priest for 3 years in our bandroom. I haven't seen anything like Priest. Are Priest coming to Finland again someday?

Hi Tuomas. I would love to come back but can’t say when at the moment.

Regards K.K.

From Matt, Texas:

Hello Again K.K.! Let me start by saying thank you for answering my last set of questions. Now I would also like to thank you for the inspiration that you and the rest of the band provide (I literally study you). Now for the questions that I really want to know:

1. I've seen performances where you are on the highest point of the stage (i.e. "Victim of Changes" from live at the Budokan) and you go from clean to distortion yet you didn't touch your pedalboard. How do you keep your backstage guy on cue so well?

2. Between you and Glenn I've heard these long held notes that last longer than they normally would ("Beyond the Realms of Death", your solo in the clean portion of "Burnin' Up") and would like advice on how to get that long feedback. Is there a special pedal you both use or is that just how good you are?

3. How hard was it in your career when you and Glenn both hit that hard mark and stayed there?

4. I love whammy bars and wah pedals but I'm stuck between Kahler and Floyd Rose trem systems. Which is a better gamble for heavy metal?

5. Remember that video I talked about being confused about making for you guys? I dug this on out that I remembered: http://www.youtube.com/user/Misrilou#play/uploads/17/aT6qxO8ef68 and tell me if I did this one justice http://www.youtube.com/user/Misrilou#play/uploads/8/RhOhUwzZc0w

Thanks.

Hi Matt.

My guitar tech Andy Corns has been with me a long time and is a good guitarist so he can easily switch for me when I am not at the board.

Often it is necessary to stand in the right place to get natural sustain but make sure you have plenty of overdrive too.

Kahler has a great feel but Floyd holds tuning better, especially the speedloader.

Great job on these videos, many thanks for that.

Regards K.K.
