Avatarium have released their second album “The Girl With The Raven Mask,” which ranks as personal favourite of 2015. Their self-titled debut record in 2013 already raised the stakes but this time, they have moved up to an even better level. Candlemass’ bassist Leif Edling’s familiar style of song writing, 1970’s sound with modern touch, the spectacular melodies, tasteful keyboard playing and finally vocalist Jennie Ann Smith’s versatile and unique voice lift this to the top category.
