Hello to all!

Just a quick blog for you as I am leaving for the States tomorrow to start the British Steel tour! We are pretty well oiled, thanks to a great rehearsal session last week and are all set to go.

We will be turning the clock back 30 years for this tour, so you might not want to miss this one, especially if you fancy a walk down the memory lane. We will be playing the whole of British Steel and be pulling out all of the stops to replicate the epitome of a retro metal spectacular, and certainly hope we can bring the show back to Europe later on for all of our dedicated fans on this side of the Atlantic.

Also, we have a new live album soon to be released called “A Touch of Evil- Live”!!! It contains only songs that have never been released in a live format ever before and was recorded at venues around the world during the last few years since the release of “Angel of Retribution”.

I was at Download last week, the weather was great and so was the atmosphere. It was cool being there just as a fan, just like all those years ago when I too used to frequent the festivals with just a sleeping bag. I don’t think I missed one festival in the UK from 1967 to1970 – the highlight of course for me was Hendrix at the Isle of White and Woburn Abbey in ’67.

Until we meet again have a great festival season and for those of you who want to see Priest play some stuff that’s never been in a set list before – come and check us out if you can. It’s going to be awesome for us all to turn that clock back together just as I said, and relive those golden years of metal that we often miss so much.

Regards,
