I stopped by in Helsinki, where I got the chance to witness my first ever Kreator show. As a long time fan it was about the time to get some extreme aggression.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When Kreator started their teutonic evening the place was completely packed with older and younger fans. In front row you could spot fathers and sons hailing to the thrash legends when starter <em>\u201cHordes of Chaos\u201d<\/em> launched the evening. After iconic <em>\u201cPhobia\u201d<\/em> it was time to introduce two songs from \u201cGods of Violence\u201d album: <em>\u201cSatan is Real\u201d<\/em> and the title track both hit hard and deserved their place in the setlist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4276\" src=\"http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0571-watermarked.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0571-watermarked.jpg 900w, http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0571-watermarked-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0571-watermarked-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the other hand my personal favorite <em>\u201cPeople of the Lie\u201d<\/em> from 1990 album <strong>\u201cComa of Souls\u201d<\/strong> still sounded as fresh as back then. Maybe even better with a bit rougher sound that it is in the album.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>\u201cPhantom Antichrist\u201d<\/em>, legendary <em>\u201cExtreme Aggression\u201d<\/em> and a song that could be a from controversial <strong>\u201cEndorama\u201d<\/strong> album <em>\u201cFrom Flood Into Fire\u201d<\/em> all set the standards high for any thrash act ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4273\" src=\"http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0303-watermarked.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0303-watermarked.jpg 900w, http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0303-watermarked-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/kkdowning.net\/steelmill\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/FA5A0303-watermarked-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mille Petrozza<\/strong>s singing was brutally perfect in each song and he fed the crowd just as a legendary frontman should. On the other hand, guitarist <strong>Sami Yli-Sirni\u00f6<\/strong> might not look like a stereotypical thrash guitarist he damn well is one of genres finest. He has brought some melodic, yet insane riffs to Kreator\u2019s catalogue since the day he joined early 2000\u2019s.
