Judas Pries<\/strong>t’s much debated “Point Of Entry”<\/strong> turned 40 this past February.<\/p>\n

While Priest certainly was the essential heavy metal band that wrote its fair share of heavy and hard neck-snappers, it was exactly material such as “Desert Plains”,<\/strong> “Solar Angels”<\/strong> and “Heading Out To The Highway<\/strong>” that have gained them appreciation over different genres. They constantly pushed the boundaries of heavy metal and have successfully done so for 50 years.<\/p>\n

Whilst “Point Of Entry” was bound to lose out in success rate compared to both its predecessor “British Steel”<\/strong> and successor “Screaming For Vengeance”<\/strong>, the record has merit and carries an atmosphere of its own.<\/p>\n
