\nFirst I\u2019d like to say you thank you very, very much for all these exciting and beautiful experiences what I have had with the music and concerts from Judas Priest and Halford.<\/strong>
\nSince I was 8 years old in 1981 I\u2019ve been fascinated about the entire eventful and varied atmosphere and this top quality in your songs. Priest is simply the best music art band! I wouldn\u2019t miss any album from Priest and Halford. Every song has his own appeal. Yes, of course I have my favourites too, but?.<\/strong>
\nIt was always so excited to see the best Band on stage. Since the Defenders of the Faith Tour I saw so many Priest and Halford concerts (in Italy, Germany, Austria, England, Nederland, Scotland. a special moment was also when you came to Bozen on the Painkiller Tour). I had the fortune to meet you and Ian for 4 times after or before the gig, for two times Scott and once Glenn. A great wish is, that I meet Rob too, to take a pictures with him and speak to him.<\/strong>
\nA very special and hyper great moment was, when I met you and Ian two times on the last Tour in Glasgow.. First we took a picture together on the train station and then we ate in the same restaurant (Do you remember?). You are sure THE MAN- a friendly, likeable mega superstar. Congratulations for the KK Downing Homepage, the possibility to ask you some questions and the amazing AoR Album and the great last Tour.<\/strong>
\n\u00a0Since the reunion happened so many great things- I met so many Priest Fans from Italy, Germany (All the German girls love you), Sweden, Switzerland and United States, inspirited of the guy\u2019s in Germany called JP United Germany, we founded a little Club in South Tyrol too- his calls: JP United Italy Fan Club. I followed the Band with friends on 9 concerts since 2004. For two concerts even my 3 kids and my wife came with me (Milano and Royal Albert Hall) These 9 trips were a great experience!<\/strong>
\nI had to ask so many questions, but for now just follow 5 my first questions:<\/strong>
\n1)\u00a0 Is there a chance that you play songs like following on the next tours?: Jawbreaker, Judas Rising, Rapid Fire, Delivering the Goods, Prisoner of your Eyes, Night Crawler, Eulogy, Eat me Alive, Let us Prey, Metal Messiah or Subterfuge, Blood Red Skies, The Rage, Demonizer, Before the Dawn, WFF? Certainly there were many more favourites too, but maybe the on or other song you could add to the usual setlist? \u00a0<\/strong>
\n2) What to you think about this? Here\u2019s my sweet dream: Perhaps without a support band you could play with a short break for more than 2 hours:<\/strong>
\n \u2022 First part: The whole Nostradamus musical show (It\u2019s sure a big, amazing and unique event)<\/strong>
\n \u2022 Little Break with Priest songs and pictures on big screens?<\/strong>
\n \u2022 Second part: A typical Priest set list with a few surprises<\/strong>
\n \u2022 Encore: Songs like Breaking the Law, YGATC, Hell Bent for Leather, a song from Nostradamus and a surprise?<\/strong>
\n\u00a0<\/strong>
\nOh yeah, sometimes my dreams are so wonderful? \ud83d\ude09<\/strong>
\n3) Which of these songs would be your favourite Priest Song to play on stage?<\/strong>
\n4) How are the moments, when you write mega riffs like Breaking the Law, Jawbreaker, Dissident Aggressor, and so on? From where take you the inspirations? Do the melodies get you in certain moments, in dreams or during your drive, under the shower or listening other music like L v Beethoven, Blues, Metal, Jazz or is it the sound of the factories like the early days, or what?<\/strong>
\n5) What other bands do you like and which other music style do you listen to?<\/strong>

Hi Sygy! I am sure that we shall have a good variety of\u00a0 some of the songs you have mentioned and of course some others that we have not played for a while. Your set idea sounds very cool, for the die hard fans at least! I am not sure about my favourite songs to play but I am looking forward to Nostradamus. I think my inspiration comes from many places but certainly my up bringing played an important role in the music that I would want to create in my life. I listen to a wide variety of styles of music as I am interested in music theory but I like classic bands best. Scorpions, Saxon, Van Halen, AC\/DC, Hendrix, UFO, etc etc etc. but also some Pantera, Machine Head, Slayer etc etc etc. Your English is just fine, thank you for your kind words.

Hello K.K.! Firstly, hands down, without a doubt, you are one of the greatest guitarists in metal, and the world. Your solos are brilliantly wild, especially the ones in ‘Hellrider’. I have a few questions which I would greatly appreciate if you answered. During the middle of your career (80’s mainly) I noticed that Glenn takes more solos than you, like in ‘You’ve Got Another Thing Coming’ and ‘Living After Midnight’. Do you two ever argue about which solos you wanted to take?. Next, in the ‘Priest…Live!’ concert in Texas, the cameramen were almost always focusing entirely on Glenn, Rob and yourself. I hardly saw anything of Dave and Ian. This really pissed me off, because I think that every member in a band is equally important. What do you think about them not getting enough publicity? Are you ever going to pursue a solo career? Will you guys ever perform in Malaysia? And Mr K.K. sir, please do hurry up on the Nostradamus album. \u00a0\u2028\u2028Rock on!\u2028\u2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hi Navnith,.\u00a0Yes I think\u00a0Glenn\u00a0likes soloing on the more commercial songs. I agree with you that all members are equally important on stage and everyone should get their fair share of coverage when filmed. If it annoys you that they don’t we can imagine how Ian and Dave felt. I would certainly like to do a solo album at some time and yes we would love to come to Malaysia. We are ready any time, it\u2019s already been too long. All the best to you and our fans until we see you there.

\nI just had a question about the scalloped neck on your guitars. Does it make playing fast leads a little easier? I’ve just sent my guitar neck out to be scalloped and was just wondering what to expect when I get it back. I saw yours in the Rising in the East video and figured if it’s good enough for K.K. then I have to get it done.<\/strong>

\nHi John. No I can\u2019t say that it helps with speed but when you get used to it, it will give you a feeling that bends are easier to perform as there is no or very little contact with the fretboard. This also will give you more confidence to play solos in a hot and humid atmosphere. It is preferable to have the scalloping done by hand and not with a machine although I have both. Hi Pedro! Well we can\u2019t say that Rob will never perform songs from those albums but I am sure that he might suggest playing some songs from Halford or Fight also. If you let me have more details or a photo of your guitar I am sure I can help you with some suggestions on the tuning, please tell the other players that I said hello!!!

\nThis is a live album request. There are some live albums of JUDAS PRIEST from different era’s but there is no live recording from Painkiller era or AOR tour. Do you guys think about that live album project? Because I and the other fans of Priest really want these great era’s live recordings. We can only listen these years from audience recording bootlegs hehe. Please release an live album for us. That would be a great gift for us before the NOSTRADAMUS release . \nI started off loving Zeppelin, Sabbath, but then when I saw Priest in 79 at The Palladium I was totally hooked and you guys have been my Favourite Band Since then. I must say my other favourite bands till this day are Van Halen (With David Lee Roth Only)\u00a0– AC\\DC (Mostly With Bon Scott on Vox) – Accept \u00a0<\/strong>
\nMany others but this just about makes up my favourites.<\/strong>
\nMy Question is, and I know its been raised before:<\/strong>
\nTo me – You guys were visually at your best during the:<\/strong>
\nHell Bent For Leather\\Unleashed In The East – 79<\/strong>
\nBritish Steel and Point Of Entry Tours (Rob was still very young looking than – and he did get himself back into shape for Ram It Down)<\/strong>
\nWhat kills me is there is no Concert Footage of These Tours – The Only Thing I have ever seen is a Live Shot of You guys doing The Green Manalishi which I think is from the Hell Bent For Leather Tour.<\/strong>
\nTo me this is Criminal – I would die for any kind of Footage from those Early: 79,80,81 Tours – You guys were just so visually exciting.\u00a0 All bands seem to have footage of themselves from their early Periods – Queen, Purple and Sabbath at the California Jam, Even Iron Maiden has early Footage of themselves.\u00a0 There must be something — who cares if its not Pro-Shot:\u00a0 You know I like Bootleg Videos Better than the Professional Ones – Its actually what a Concert Looks Like when Your Sitting 15Th Row or upstairs.<\/strong>
\nTo me this has been the Biggest Let Down in My Rock Life that there is no Live Footage of Priest From the Above Mentioned Tours.\u00a0To me this Period is Totally Classic Priest and it is criminal that there is no footage of this – Even Thin Lizzy Has old Footage – I know you have footage of the Stained Class Tour but that was before Halford Adopted the Leather Look and You Guys all Looked the best During those 79\\80\\81 Tours.<\/strong>
\nDon’t get me Wrong – I Iove Priest till this day but I, and everyone I know, wants to see film footage of the 79\\80\\81 Tours and I know every Priest Fan in New York – especially the ones who were at those Palladium Shows – Like Myself.<\/strong>
\nK.K. – Please Find some Footage of those tours and release it — everyone wants it – Everyone.<\/strong>
\nTo me there will be no closure in my life until I find Footage from those 79,80,81 Tours.<\/strong>

\nHi Brian! Yes I have many fond memories of those shows and especially those Palladium gigs. I remember for one show we had to take a cab to the gig but couldn’t get one so we had to take the bus. I too am disappointed that there is a lack of footage from that period, but I guess to us the only important thing was that we were touring the world playing the music we loved to great audiences. However there is always a chance that something might turn up. Thanks for the years of support and hopefully we will see you next year at the Garden. And I want to thank you again for these great unique shots (excellent!!!!!!!!!!)
