“Can you feel the beat, everybody’s rockin’ in the summer heat!”

Greetings fellow metalheads! To set the course of summer in a properly metal direction, we have added a bunch of new interviews at the Steel Mill. First of all we take a look at Seattle’s Q5, a band that has been sort of a cult classic amongst the Millworkers greatly thanks to their 84’s brilliant “Steel The Light” album. Now, after almost 30 years Q5 is putting finishing touches on a brand new album that has really stirred our appetite!

Also a new album is in the works by finnish metal outfit Diablo – bassist Aadolf Virtanen gives us the latest news from that direction and of course we couldn’t help to include a few questions about his cool one-string Judas Priest bass that could hardly look any better!

Big news also from the Nazareth camp, as the classic Scot rockers have gone through a change in personnel lately. Steel Mill caught up with new vocalist Carl Sentance just moments away from his first gig as the new Naz singer. Comments on that, as well as a few news from his other band Persian Risk, also available.

And what would a summer update be without another addition to our Priest Tribute section. This time we go straight to the Big Apple as New York’s Victim of Changes features at the Mill.

Other goodies also scattered through the site, so click on in and see what’s in store.

Wishing you all a great metal summer! \,,/
