Finnish hard rock act MegaSnake might be young as a group yet their members hold a decay of experience from bands such as Leningrad Cowboys, Apocalyptica, Gringos Locos, Peer Günt, Ancara, Los Bastardos Finlandeses, Killer Kachina and Kings of Modesty. The band started as a cover project yet they are currently working on a full debut album with first single and video published. We had a small chat with the guys.

How long have you all known each other? How did you meet?
The slightly older guys since the late 80’s. The youngsters beginning of 90’s.
When did you form your band? What inspired you to make music together?
Around two years ago. Overall bored with the Finnish music scene.

Classic Rock with some wayward progressive elements.
What’s your songwriting process? Who writes your songs? What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs? Do you think these topics will change over time?
Original material about everyday strife and maybe some glimpses of positive vibes.
How has your music evolved since you first began playing music together?
We hope it will evolve as we go.
What do you expect when going to gigs? Are you going to play only MegaSnake-material or cover songs also?
